About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Sister to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a Senior Sister, you will play a key role in leading and managing a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of patients.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure that patient care is meeting the required standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • NMC registered
  • Degree level qualification
  • Minimum 5 years post-reg experience
  • Minimum of 3 year experience at band 6 sister/charge nurse
  • Evidence of Leadership Qualification
