Your Role
As an Optometrist, you will play a key part in creating an environment that combines clinical and operational excellence. You will work in partnership with an Optical Manager to develop new patient services, ensuring we offer our customers the most current and accessible services to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Screen patients and provide coaching and training to the wider team
- Maintain standards on the department and contribute to the development of new patient services
- Work in partnership with the Optical Manager to achieve clinical and operational excellence
- Support the development of new patient services and shape the culture of the department
About You
We are looking for a fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will be a registered performer with your NHS area team or health board, and have MECs or WECs accreditation (or be willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda). You will also be on track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD.
