- Signpost and support women and their families to various agencies, promoting their access to essential services.

- Undertake training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices in domestic violence support.
- Hold a SafeLives IDVA training certificate, or a relevant degree, or demonstrable equivalent experience or a vocational qualification.
- Driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
- Have a thorough understanding of domestic violence and abuse, including its impact on victims and their children.
- Understand child protection issues and how to effectively safeguard.
- Experience in engaging with external agencies and providing practical and emotional support.
- Strong crisis management skills and excellent IT and communication skills.
- Ability to manage own workload and work collaboratively as part of a team.
