At Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, we are committed to providing high-quality care to women with severe or complex mental health conditions during the perinatal period.

As a Perinatal Mental Health Nurse, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and evidence-based care to our patients. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in perinatal mental health and make a real difference in the lives of women and their families.

Main duties of the job:

  • Work with mothers, their infants, and families who are at risk of or experiencing severe and complex perinatal mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the wider treatment team.
  • Provide psychoeducation and support to women to understand their mental health challenges and develop coping strategies.
  • Work with women to develop relapse prevention plans and link in with wider third sector agencies.

Please note that this role requires independent travel around the county, and you will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
