Senior Project Manager - HV Substation Projects

Turner Lovell is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of HV Substation Design & Build projects across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, manage, and safely deliver site activities
  • Support the project team in delivering construction works
  • Implement and improve Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality management systems
  • Drive strategic oversight of project deliverables
  • Provide visionary leadership to cross-functional teams
  • Establish and cascade critical objectives to project team leads
  • Direct comprehensive project cost control strategies
  • Oversee the development and implementation of sophisticated method statements and risk assessments
  • Cultivate an organizational culture characterized by transparency, open communication, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Extensive strategic leadership in managing complex Substation projects up to 400kV
  • Advanced certification in Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
  • Superior interpersonal acumen, with a history of building and maintaining high-level stakeholder relationships
  • Full driving license, enabling mobility for critical site visits and key meetings
  • Demonstrated success in driving robust financial performance within challenging contracting environments
  • Comprehensive understanding and implementation of cutting-edge safety and quality management systems
  • Advanced project management credentials such as APM, PRINCE2, or PMI are highly desirable
