Job Title: Application Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team at DXC Technology Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our applications, ensuring their efficient operation and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve application-related problems, implementing process improvements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for application support and maintenance.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of new applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of application performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, providing technical guidance and support to ensure successful application deployment and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in application support and maintenance, with experience in Windows Server, SQL, and enterprise services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Windchill administration and implementation, as well as Creo Parametric and Office PDF workers.
