About the Role

CSE Education Systems Ltd is seeking a highly skilled ICT Support Specialist to join its team onsite at one of our schools in Bolton. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring a high level of service delivery and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to end-user requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Engage with the school's Senior Leadership Team to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
  • Monitor, diagnose, and fix various ICT system issues, including hardware and software problems
  • Perform day-to-day tasks for end-users, such as fixing print issues, changing passwords, and generating reports
  • Handle hardware support requests by arranging replacements or repairs for customers
  • Manage Service Desk tickets, prioritizing issues and escalating where required
  • Collaborate with 3rd line Engineers and Account Management to resolve customer issues
Requirements
  • Technical competencies: Application Deployment, Desktop Deployment, Microsoft Windows 11/10, Microsoft Servers, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Experience working with Laptops Devices, Printer Management, Networking, Backup Management
  • Non-technical requirements: Positive outlook and attitude, Previous experience working in the education sector, Great communication skills, Patient and calm temperament, Good timekeeping, Self-motivation, Can-do attitude, Ability to follow instructions and work alone when required, Problem-solving skills
