Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a proficient and seasoned Automotive Paint Technician for a full-time role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in water-based paint applications and have significant hands-on experience in the automotive painting sector.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare vehicles for painting by performing tasks such as sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
2. Mix paint to achieve color accuracy and apply it using spray guns.
3. Ensure a flawless and uniform application of paint, avoiding runs, sags, or other defects.
4. Conduct touch-ups and finishing work as required.
5. Maintain and clean all painting tools and ensure a neat workspace.
6. Comply with all safety and environmental standards.
7. Inspect completed work to ensure it aligns with industry benchmarks and client expectations.
8. Collaborate with fellow team members to promote efficient workflow and superior quality outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality paint spraying from start to finish, with a strong emphasis on experience with water-based paints. A stable work history is essential, along with a City Guilds qualification or equivalent ATA accreditation. Candidates should exhibit a commitment to high standards and possess up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
