Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a proficient and seasoned Automotive Paint Technician for a full-time role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in water-based coatings and have substantial hands-on experience in an automotive painting setting.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare vehicles for painting by executing sanding, masking, and priming tasks.
2. Mix paint to achieve accurate color matching and apply it using spray equipment.
3. Ensure a flawless and uniform paint application, avoiding any imperfections.
4. Conduct touch-ups and final finishing work as required.
5. Maintain and clean all painting tools and ensure a well-organized workspace.
6. Comply with all safety and environmental standards.
7. Inspect completed work to confirm it meets industry benchmarks and client satisfaction.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure streamlined operations and superior quality outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality paint spraying from start to finish and must have experience with water-based paints. A stable employment history and possession of a City Guilds qualification or equivalent ATA accreditation are essential. A commitment to maintaining high standards and an up-to-date understanding of vehicle repair methodologies is expected.
