Job Overview:
Our esteemed client is seeking a proficient and seasoned Automotive Paint Technician for a full-time role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in water-based coatings and have substantial hands-on experience in the automotive painting sector.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Vehicle Paint Technician, your primary duties will include:

1. Preparing vehicles for painting by performing sanding, masking, and priming tasks.
2. Mixing paints to achieve precise color matches and applying them using spray equipment.
3. Ensuring a flawless and uniform paint application, devoid of imperfections such as runs or sags.
4. Conducting touch-ups and final finishing work as required.
5. Maintaining and cleaning all painting tools and ensuring a well-organized workspace.
6. Complying with all safety and environmental regulations.
7. Inspecting completed work to confirm it meets industry standards and client expectations.
8. Collaborating with fellow team members to promote efficient workflow and superior quality outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality paint spraying from start to finish, with a solid experience in water-based paints. A City Guilds qualification or equivalent ATA accreditation is essential. You will exhibit a strong work ethic and possess up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
