About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at ESS, a leading provider of food and hospitality services to the Defence, Government, and Energy sectors. As a Catering Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchens and service counters, delivering exceptional food experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of delicious food to the highest standards
  • Supervise and motivate our culinary and catering teams to ensure excellent customer service and food quality
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets, working closely with your line manager to drive business growth
  • Represent ESS and maintain a positive brand image through excellent customer service and communication
  • Liaise with customers and our teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed customer expectations
  • Support and train our teams to excel in their roles, leading by example and promoting a positive work culture
  • Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of catering experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Proven track record of managing teams and driving business growth
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate and excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ambitious and motivated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and great-tasting food
