Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Lead to develop and execute strategic procurement plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet AbbVie's needs while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to drive business value.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities, from requisition to payment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related business function, with a strong track record of driving business value and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Experience with procurement software and systems, including Ariba/SAP.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
