Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our inpatient therapy team, providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be required to work with patients with various presentations, including:

  • Elderly frail patients requiring therapy to regain independence.
  • Patients who have become acutely unwell and require therapy to support their recovery.
  • Patients who have fallen and may have broken bones.
  • Patients following surgery.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves carrying out treatment plans, as directed by a therapist, and supporting patients to wash and dress, transfer in and out of bed, and walk. You will be required to collect basic information from patients, report to the therapist, provide equipment, and work as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
  • Good standard of literacy.
  • Basic computer skills.

Experience in Healthcare

  • Experience working in an administration and/or customer service role.
  • Experience in working in a people-facing role.
