Job Description

About the Role

Olympus UK & Ireland is seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Specialist to join our Customer Solutions team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base across the North of England.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Lead Generation and Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and manage the sales pipeline through our CRM system.
  • Business Planning and Management: Collaborate with our Project Management team to develop and execute business plans, manage sales opportunities, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Segmentation and Targeting: Employ data-driven insights to identify and target new business opportunities, and develop tailored sales strategies to drive growth.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales colleagues and project managers, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the sales process.
  • Customer Solutions Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our Customer Solutions portfolio, including healthcare IT solutions and integrated operating theatres.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in field-based technical sales roles, preferably in the healthcare or medical devices sector.
  • Skills: Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills, ability to present information in a structured and balanced way, analytical approach, and ability to use data to support decision-making.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
