Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality mental health services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and care planning.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and well-coordinated care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers to provide clear and concise information.
  • Contribute to the safe and effective day-to-day operations of the service, including handling clinical enquiries.
  • Provide high standards of written and verbal communication, adhering to professional documentation standards.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, reviews, and professional meetings to ensure effective team working.
  • Facilitate fair access to social care services and promote social inclusion, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
  • Actively contribute to multidisciplinary team working and participate in the development of mental health services.
Requirements
  • Appropriate professional mental health qualification and registration (e.g., RMN, OT, or Social Worker).
  • Training to level 2 in Safeguarding Adults, Children, and Young People: Roles and Competencies for Healthcare Staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health presentations.
  • Able to produce well-written reports and demonstrate computer literacy.
  • Able to recognize potential difficulties and participate in finding solutions, with the ability to assess risk.
