We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Officer to join our team at Sustrans. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting and enabling sustainable travel options in Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tailored packages of activities and promotional materials to encourage active travel.
  • Work in close partnership with Cornwall Council, public transport providers, and other stakeholders to support the development and delivery of a countywide Workplace Travel Challenge.
  • Manage a varied workload, including project planning, engagement activities, and promotional events.
  • Build relationships with a wide range of organisations, groups, and individuals to promote active travel.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences to engage and meet their needs.

Requirements:

  • Passion for active travel and supporting others to make positive changes to their daily journeys.
  • Experience in building relationships with a wide range of organisations, groups, and individuals.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to adapt your approach to engage diverse audiences.
