Berry Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Assistant to join our team. As an Event Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional delegate experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Enquiries and Correspondence: Manage all event inquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication with delegates, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Event Bookings and Invoicing: Process event bookings, ensure delegate information is accurate, and handle invoicing and credit notes.
  • Event Preparation and Execution: Assist with event preparations, including badge production, event documentation, and material organization.
  • Sponsor Liaison: Coordinate with sponsors to ensure package fulfillment and effective communication.
  • Event Follow-up: Process feedback forms, reorganize materials, and analyze event performance.
  • Event Attendance: Attend events as required, including setup, breakdown, and delegate registration.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of event administration.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Administrative and Organizational Skills: Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • IT Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Mail Merge.
  • Education: Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for external meetings and events, with occasional overnight stays.
