Job Title: Aerospace Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerospace Safety Manager to join our team at EG Group. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and review safety procedures, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to stay up-to-date on the latest health and safety regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
