About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Market Insight Manager to join our team at the National Farmers Union. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in shaping the profitability of the UK's sugar beet industry on behalf of all UK sugar beet growers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead contract negotiations and manage ongoing commercial relationships to ensure agreements are beneficial to growers and supported by the Sugar board.
  • Deliver market and technical insights to underpin commercial efforts, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including senior executives and board members.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a numerate subject and substantial experience in commercial or financial roles.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and board members.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of delivering commercial results.
