We are currently seeking a seasoned Programme Risk Manager to enhance our Project Controls team.

Role Responsibilities:

In the capacity of Programme Risk Manager, you will oversee the execution of risk management strategies across various programmes and projects, fostering a culture centered on informed risk-based decision-making.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Delivering Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) services across diverse projects, employing industry-leading tools and methodologies to generate comprehensive Risk Analysis reports.
  • Developing and managing detailed risk registers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring a robust foundation of information for all identified risks.
  • Collaborating with the commercial team to assess and analyze commercial risks.
  • Maintaining and validating risk databases, ensuring data integrity across various systems.
  • Assisting project teams in clearly articulating their objectives alongside associated risks.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality risk management products.
  • Utilizing applicable risk assessment tools and best practices to identify potential risks.
  • Regularly reviewing risks and treatment strategies to update or refine risk profiles as necessary.
  • Documenting all work in accordance with established risk management protocols.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of risk data shared with project personnel.
  • Alerting project managers to any current or potential risk-related concerns.
  • Upholding compliance with all approved processes, procedures, and systems.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Professional membership in a recognized chartered body is advantageous.
  • Certification in an appropriate project management discipline is desirable.

Demonstrated experience as a Risk specialist within a project delivery context, particularly in the nuclear or similarly regulated sectors, is essential.
