Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Programme Risk Manager to enhance our Project Controls team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the integration of risk management across various programmes and projects, fostering a culture centered on informed decision-making regarding risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) services to diverse projects, employing industry-leading tools and methodologies to generate comprehensive Risk Analysis reports.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of high-quality risk registers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure a robust repository of information supporting all identified risks.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to assess and analyze commercial risks effectively.
  • Manage risk databases and ensure data integrity across various systems.
  • Assist project teams in articulating their objectives and associated risks clearly.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality risk management products.
  • Utilize appropriate risk assessment tools and best practices to identify potential risks.
  • Regularly review and update risk treatment strategies to address evolving risks and fulfill reporting obligations.
  • Document all work in alignment with established risk management protocols.
  • Maintain the accuracy of risk-related data communicated to project stakeholders.
  • Proactively highlight current or potential risk issues to project management.
  • Ensure adherence to approved processes, procedures, and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably holds a degree in a relevant field or possesses equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional membership in a recognized chartered body is advantageous.
  • Trained in a relevant Project Management qualification.

Demonstrated experience as a Risk specialist within a project delivery context, ideally in the nuclear or similarly regulated sectors, is essential.
