We are currently seeking a qualified Programme Risk Manager to enhance our Project Controls team.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Programme Risk Manager, your primary role will involve the execution of risk management strategies across various programmes and projects, fostering a culture of informed decision-making based on risk assessment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) services across multiple projects, employing industry best practices and producing comprehensive Risk Analysis reports.
  • Leading the development of high-quality risk registers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring the availability of accurate and detailed information for all identified risks.
  • Collaborating with the commercial team to evaluate and analyze commercial risks.
  • Managing risk databases and ensuring data integrity across various systems.
  • Assisting project teams in articulating their objectives and associated risks clearly.
  • Delivering high-quality risk management products within established timelines.
  • Identifying potential risks using appropriate assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Regularly reviewing risks and treatment strategies to ensure they are current and meet reporting standards.
  • Documenting all work in accordance with established risk management protocols.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of risk data communicated to project personnel.
  • Bringing attention to any current or potential risk-related issues to the project manager.
  • Maintaining adherence to approved processes, procedures, and systems.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • Professional membership in a recognized chartered body is advantageous.
  • Certification in an appropriate Project Management qualification is desirable.

Demonstrated experience as a Risk specialist in a project delivery environment, particularly within the nuclear or similarly regulated sectors, is essential.
