Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Overnight Airport Operations Duty Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our airport facilities during overnight hours.

Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained and oversee the training and development of new employees.
  • Operational Compliance: Guarantee adherence to all airline guidelines, FAA, TSA, CBP, and other regulatory agency requirements. Oversee documentation procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Freight Handling: Direct supervisors to ensure efficient and secure handling and delivery of freight.
  • Process Development: Develop and implement standard operational practices to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to maintain service standards.
  • Customer Service: Respond effectively to critical service recovery situations involving customers, freight, and employees.
  • Financial Management: Review expenditures to ensure adherence to corporate profitability targets.
  • Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure operational and safety compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate, coach, and counsel staff members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in a supervisory/management role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial position within the aviation industry is preferred.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including drug screening.
  • Successful completion of an FBI background check and obtaining a custom seal.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Department of Airports driving test to operate on the Airport Operational Area (AOA).
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts and adhere to airline client work schedule requirements.
