ROLE SUMMARY

Pfizer's Commercial Analytics & AI (CAAI) division is seeking a highly skilled Insights Strategy & Execution (ISE) team member to play a critical role in enabling the company's commercial brand strategy. As an internal consultant and brand strategist, this individual will partner with commercial and cross-functional leaders to drive data-driven problem-solving and execute impactful business decisions.

The ISE Therapeutic Area (TA) Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality strategic business decision support to UK business leaders in [Primary Care/Specialty Care/Oncology]. This person will develop performance measurement solutions, guide investment decisions, and identify insights that inform inline and launch strategies for priority brands/portfolios.

The ideal candidate will possess strong TA knowledge, analytic capabilities, and effective project management skills. They will design and execute analytics and insights plans, delivering actionable insights that drive direct business impact.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the identification of data and insight needs, design of analytics and research plans, and execution of those plans, incorporating solutions across CAAI capabilities.
  2. Deliver customer analytics, segmentation, and targeting, promotional resource allocation, field force sizing, omnichannel analysis, and other advanced analytics.
  3. Effectively collaborate on the delivery of predictive modeling, data science, and machine learning, as needed.
  4. Connect research and analytics together into compelling and actionable insights.
Performance Management/Forecasting/Operating Plan Support
  1. Track BUs portfolio performance and ensure accurate and effective performance measurement solutions are built and maintained.
  2. Monitor the external marketplace/competitive landscape and ensure clear insights drive commercial decisions.
  3. Support data modeling and forecasting needs, including for LRF and operating plans.
Market Research Management
  1. Develop, commission, and contract impactful market research, as needed, through approved vendors.
  2. Accountable for meeting compliance and corporate SOP obligations of primary market research.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred in a quantitative discipline.
  2. Extensive multi-disciplinary experience with a preference for exposure to business analytics/finance, marketing, engineering, or other quantitative fields.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry in the UK, including relevant data sources required to understand and generate insights about the market.
  2. Experience across at least some CAAI capabilities, including data analytics, primary and secondary market research, data reporting & visualization, and forecasting/modeling.
  3. Familiarity with artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) and data science approaches.
  4. Innovative and agile mindset; fluency in English.
