Job Overview

Selwood Housing is seeking an experienced Compliance Project Surveyor to join our team on a fixed-term contract. As a Compliance Project Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our residents, staff, and contractors, while driving our commitment to provide safe, comfortable, and accessible housing across the South West.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of various programmes across core areas, including fire safety, water, legionella, asbestos, lifts, and gas.
  • Manage contracts, chair regular progress meetings, and provide advice on programme quality, design, and costs.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Monitor KPIs and contract performance to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Drive business growth and improvement through data-driven decision making.

Requirements

  • HNC or CIOB in Building or Surveying or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in maintenance management and/or construction management.
  • Demonstrable track record working in Compliance Management within a Social Housing environment.
  • Knowledge of contract management and budgetary constraints.
  • Ability to drive and access to a vehicle for business use.
