About the Role:

Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to clients via phone, email, and remote desktop.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
  • Test and evaluate new technologies and software.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as instructed by the IT Manager and Management Team.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, 365, Windows 10, and VPN.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
