Senior Support Worker Job Opportunity

An exciting role has become available for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our exceptional care home in the Diss, Ipswich area. As a key member of our team, you will be working for a leading healthcare provider, delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to take on a senior role within our care team. As a Senior Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily care and support to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
  • Conducting formal supervisions and appraisals to support the development of our care team
  • Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Representing the care home and promoting our services to relatives, prospective residents, and enquiries
  • Participating in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
  • Administering medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience of working in a care setting
  • A good team player with excellent communication skills
  • A genuine desire to care for others and make a positive impact on our residents' lives
