Senior Support Worker Opportunity

An exciting role has become available for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our exceptional care home in the Diss, Ipswich area. As a key member of our team, you will be working for a leading healthcare provider, delivering high-quality care and support to residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Contribute to care planning and coaching support workers, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Take an active professional role in promoting our services, engaging with relatives, prospective residents, and enquiries.
  • Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation, maintaining accurate records.
  • Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures, prioritising their safety and well-being.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience of working in a care setting, with a strong understanding of care principles.
  • A good team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, with a genuine desire to care for others.
