Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our care team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Conduct regular supervisions and appraisals to ensure staff are meeting their full potential
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Provide guidance and coaching to support workers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in a care setting, preferably in a senior role
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
