We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care to James, a 10-year-old child with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and visual impairment.
Key Responsibilities- Support James with daily living activities, including getting up and dressed, using the bathroom, and taking medication.
- Assist with hydrotherapy sessions on a 2:1 care basis and participate in other activities with or without family members.
- Help with household chores and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for James.
- Experience working with children with special needs and complex medical conditions.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with patience, tact, and understanding.
- Valid DBS check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
- Competitive hourly rate: £14.50-£16.00 per hour.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata.
- Pension scheme (subject to qualifying status).
- Free DBS check.
