Key Responsibilities:


  • Accurately prepare, verify, and authorize purchase ledger invoices within the system, ensuring proper coding to the nominal ledger.
  • Cross-check invoices for accuracy and approve them in the financial system.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve any inquiries.
  • Organize payment runs and generate cash flow reports.
  • Execute payment runs using Sage and through banking channels.
  • Handle ad-hoc payment requests as needed.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding payment-related issues.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies.
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements.
  • Prepare summaries for agency invoices.
  • Issue weekly and monthly self-billing invoices to suppliers.
  • Maintain organized filing of invoices, statements, and self-bills.
  • Allocate payments and manage fund transfers.
  • Collaborate with departments to resolve supplier queries and discrepancies.
  • Verify invoices against databases for accuracy.
  • Record bank payments and interest charges in Sage.
Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the accounts team as needed.
  • Undertake any additional tasks and projects as requested.

Qualifications:


We are looking for a candidate who can quickly adapt and has comprehensive experience in finance, particularly in purchase ledger management. The ideal candidate will possess a confident demeanor and the ability to make informed decisions within company guidelines.
