The MIChild Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Room Leader in our Sunbeams nursery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing the nursery curriculum and providing high standards of quality within the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the nursery curriculum to ensure high-quality education and care for children.
- Lead planning and maintain accurate and effective children's records to ensure seamless communication with parents and carers.
- Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
- Support the development of good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion to ensure a welcoming environment for all children.
- Work with the Childcare and Education team to continuously improve the quality of childcare and education.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children, adhering to Safeguarding Procedures and Food Safety Regulations.
- Comply with all relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, and company policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with current developments in childcare and education policy and practice to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field.
- Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted and the EYFS.
- Excellent knowledge of childcare and education policies, with experience of working with children and families.
- Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding procedures and practices.
- Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Strong administrative skills to manage and maintain records and reports.
