About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Cygnet Group. This role is suitable for a newly qualified SLT or a student awaiting registration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver an evidence-based SLT service to meet the needs of our complex client group in a residential setting.
  • Support the development of others, promote good practice, and maintain a successful inclusive communication environment.
  • Participate in a development program to build knowledge and skills and evidence competencies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family, and carers to provide comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to routine service meetings with Cygnet Speech and Language Therapists.
Requirements
  • Placement experience or interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders/Learning Disabilities.
  • Interest in person-centred support and planning.
  • Understanding of the importance of teamwork and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment.
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, and passion.
