About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cancer Clinical Educator to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Nursing and AHP Education team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering education programs to support the care of cancer patients across our trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead on the delivery of inter-professional education to ensure staff proficiency in the care of cancer patients across the whole cancer and oncology pathway.
  • Organise, develop and lead the delivery of clinical training programs to meet the learning needs of the clinical workforce.
  • Support with the development of the Aspirant Cancer Career and Education Development Programme (Accend) and roll out across the trust.
  • Maintain and develop clinical expertise to act as an expert resource to colleagues by guiding practice development and education delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the Lead Cancer Nurse and Clinical Educators to deliver inter-professional point of care teaching programs to enhance patient care to all disciplines of healthcare staff.

  • Mentor/Assessor Qualification
  • Certificate in education or equivalent teaching certificate
