We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Clinical Educator to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering clinical education programs to support the care of patients with palliative care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on the delivery of inter-professional education to ensure staff proficiency in caring for patients with palliative care needs.
- Organize, develop, and lead the delivery of clinical training programs to meet the learning needs of the clinical workforce.
- Maintain and develop clinical expertise to act as an expert resource to colleagues by guiding practice development and education delivery.
- Work clinically with staff in the wards and departments to improve their assessment and management of palliative care patients.
- Work collaboratively with the Lead Nurse for Cancer and Palliative Care and Clinical Educators to deliver inter-professional point of care teaching programs to enhance patient care to all disciplines of healthcare staff.
- NMC registration.
- Certificate in education or equivalent teaching certificate.
- Mentor/Assessor Qualification.
- Relevant Professional Degree.
