Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our new fertility laboratory in Bristol. As Laboratory Manager and Senior Embryologist, you will be responsible for establishing and managing a world-class, HFEA-licensed laboratory, implementing advanced techniques, and recruiting a team of skilled scientists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the establishment and daily management of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with HFEA regulations and maintaining the highest possible success rates.
  • Recruit and cultivate a team of highly skilled scientists, elevating the laboratory to become a centre of excellence within our network of clinics.
  • Lead the lab's digital transformation, introducing the latest innovations in technology and workflow optimisation, ensuring operational efficiency and clinical excellence.
  • Align the laboratory's objectives with our strategic vision, integrating the Bristol facility seamlessly with our broader clinical framework.
  • Maintain the highest standards of compliance and patient care, whilst driving continuous improvement in both laboratory operations and clinical outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in the leadership of a high-performing, HFEA-compliant embryology laboratory, with particular proficiency in advanced reproductive technologies.
  • Forward-thinking approach, adept at integrating technological advancements to enhance laboratory operations and clinical outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to engage effortlessly with both internal and external stakeholders.
