Financial Controller - Supply Chain

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the finance function, encompassing manufacturing and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and Develop the Finance Team: Oversee the finance team, driving performance, and implementing improvements in systems and processes.
  2. Financial Planning and Analysis: Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and planning process, liaising with department heads to build a financial strategy.
  3. Financial Systems and Compliance: Ensure the company's financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.
  4. Financial Modelling and Reporting: Develop and present financial models, analysis, and reports to the executive team.
  5. Business Strategy Development: Participate in business strategy development, working closely with stakeholders.
  6. Performance Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly and weekly business performance reports, including rolling forecasts and variance reporting.
  7. Cash and Currency Management: Manage the company's cash and currency, working closely with banks.
  8. Management Accounting and Reporting: Develop and refine management accounting and reporting, including KPIs and business analysis.
  9. Statutory Audit and Compliance: Prepare draft annual accounts, working papers, and consolidation of financial statements, supporting the statutory audit.
  10. External Financial Advisers: Work with and liaise with external financial advisers.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Accountant: ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification.
  2. Advanced MS Applications: Advanced knowledge of MS applications, including Excel and Access.
  3. Financial and Non-Financial Skills: Ability to deal with financial and non-financial people across the business.
  4. Inventory Planning and Control: Experienced in inventory planning and stock control.
