Position Overview

People Operations Consultant

Location: Remote

Salary: £27k - £33k plus comprehensive benefits

We are seeking a skilled People Operations Consultant to become a part of our dynamic and inclusive team. This role is perfect for a Human Resources Generalist eager to engage in various facets of the organization.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, providing guidance on a diverse range of employee relations matters, including but not limited to; disciplinary actions, grievances, performance evaluations, and absence management.
  • Possession of a minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification in Human Resource Management.
  • Experience in delivering initial HR support to management.
  • Current knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Familiarity with working in a legal services environment would be a significant advantage.

Employee Relations Management

  • Facilitate and/or assist in various HR meetings, including disciplinary hearings, dismissals, grievances, absence management, and workplace disputes as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all HR-related inquiries, offering prompt advice and support to management on a variety of HR issues.

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee and manage the recruitment and selection process across all departments.
  • Regularly assess all recruitment and selection policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant legal standards, including data protection and anti-discrimination laws.
  • Handle the administration and coordination of a comprehensive recruitment process.

Onboarding and Induction

  • Manage administrative tasks for all new hires, including providing accurate information to the finance department, creating personnel files, and setting up new employees in the HR system.

Training and Development Initiatives

  • Play a pivotal role in designing and delivering training sessions for management and staff on various HR topics, procedures, and policies.
  • Oversee the administration and coordination of training processes and maintain training records.
