A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE IS REQUIRED

  • Position: Care Support Specialist
  • Compensation: £12.00 Per Hour
  • Work Schedule: Days and Nights
  • Full-time: 42 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs, utilizing person-centered strategies to help them achieve positive outcomes as outlined in their support plans.
  • Perform essential daily tasks such as administering medication, meal preparation, housekeeping, and documentation.
  • Provide both emotional and practical assistance.
  • Facilitate access to community resources and encourage participation in local groups.
  • Foster strong relationships with individuals in our care to promote independence and enhance their quality of life.
  • Empower individuals to acquire new skills or engage in hobbies and interests.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in the care sector or similar is essential.
  • Must have experience with Mental Health Conditions, Complex Care, and Challenging Behaviors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Proficient in IT.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A compassionate, caring, and optimistic personality.
  • A genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.
  • Capable of handling challenging behavior and conflict resolution.
  • Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
