A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE IS REQUIRED

  • Position: Care Support Specialist
  • Compensation: £12.00 Per Hour
  • Shift Patterns: Days and Nights
  • Employment Type: Full-time - 42 hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs, utilizing person-centered strategies to help them achieve positive outcomes as outlined in their support plans.
  • Perform essential daily tasks such as administering medication, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining documentation.
  • Provide both emotional and practical assistance.
  • Facilitate access to community resources and encourage participation in community groups.
  • Establish strong relationships with those in our care to foster independence and enhance their quality of life.
  • Empower individuals to acquire new skills or engage in hobbies and interests.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in the care sector or similar fields is essential.
  • Experience with Mental Health Conditions, Complex Care, and Challenging Behaviors is mandatory.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Proficient in IT applications.
  • A positive, proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • A compassionate, caring, and optimistic personality.
  • A genuine commitment to making a significant difference in people's lives.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required.
  • Capable of handling challenging behaviors and conflicts.
  • Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
