Job Title: Renewable Energy HSS Specialist

Statkraft is a leading renewable energy company, and we are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy HSS Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Project Delivery Unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and security of our employees, contractors, and the public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HSS advice and guidance to project managers and teams on all aspects of HSS management.
  • Develop and implement HSS strategies and plans to ensure compliance with Statkraft's HSS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular HSS audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure they meet Statkraft's HSS standards.
  • Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to HSS management.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in HSS management, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
  • IOSH and NEBOSH trained.
  • Knowledge of ISO:45001 and UK HSS legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
