Join our team as an IT Service Desk Lead and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical skills. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our service desk, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
About the RoleThe IT Service Desk Lead will be responsible for leading and mentoring a diverse team, including student placements and apprentices, setting objectives, and conducting regular performance reviews. You will also be responsible for documenting and auditing processes, conducting performance reviews, and promoting the service desk as a core business asset.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong working knowledge of PC hardware, Windows desktop software, and office products. Proven experience of supporting server hardware, Windows Server 2019/22, VMware, CISCO Networking, and SANs is essential. You should also be adept at supporting Veeam, DR, and other backup technologies, and have a solid background in incident management, service request management, and problem-solving.
