Role Summary:
The Mental Health Crisis Support Specialist plays a vital role in delivering our Nightlight Service, which offers urgent assistance and emotional support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. This service serves as an alternative to traditional pathways and operates throughout the week, ensuring continuous support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate support to adults in crisis across the region.
- Utilize a person-centered approach to ensure every individual is treated with dignity and respect.
- Collaborate with a diverse team, including staff, volunteers, and coordinators, to maintain high-quality service delivery.
Service Objectives:
- Enhance the mental well-being of individuals facing crises.
- Facilitate early access to support services, creating clear pathways to assistance.
- Promote independent support for all clients and offer alternative solutions to reduce reliance on emergency services.
Work Environment:
Our Crisis Cafes provide a safe and welcoming space for individuals in distress, allowing them to engage with trained staff or simply take a moment for themselves.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary ranging from £23,500 to £25,000 per annum, FTE.
- Flexible working hours with options for full-time or part-time positions.
