Position Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Community Engagement Officer at Fortem Cares. This role is pivotal in enhancing customer satisfaction and client relations through effective communication and support.

Key Responsibilities

The Community Engagement Officer will:

  • Collaborate closely with the client’s resident representatives.
  • Assist the site manager in managing the contract effectively.
  • Ensure timely communication of customer concerns to the relevant parties.
  • Inform residents about upcoming project timelines and updates.
  • Document and report any resident refusals regarding access for work.
  • Address resident inquiries and complaints on a daily basis, ensuring all issues are logged.
  • Monitor and respond to client communications as necessary.
  • Maintain a detailed diary of visits, noting resident feedback and project progress.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • The ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism.
  • Strong resilience and negotiation capabilities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience in social housing.

  • Certifications such as SMSTS or Scaffold Inspection.
