We are seeking a qualified IT Sourcing Manager to become a vital part of our team at Addition+. This role is essential for managing procurement processes within our organization, which is recognized for its excellence in the hospitality sector.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Procure IT services to meet organizational and group needs.
  • Oversee an annual IT operational budget of approximately £30 million.
  • Manage additional project expenditures of around £10 million in the technology and infrastructure domain.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of critical IT initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Software Sourcing Manager to establish a comprehensive strategy for software and network procurement.
  • Engage with stakeholders to formulate and execute effective strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers to achieve specific business goals.
  • Maintain effective cost management practices.
  • Develop a thorough category management plan.
  • Ensure high standards of quality and performance from suppliers.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in procurement management.
  • Background in transformation or migration initiatives.
  • Expertise in diverse sourcing strategies relevant to the IT sector (preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic plans.
  • CIPS certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication abilities with a knack for influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship management skills with internal clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Competence in procurement processes, including needs assessment, market research, tender negotiations, and contract management.
