Transformation Business Partner

We are seeking two Transformation Business Partners to join our team at Tameside Council. This is a pivotal role in driving strategic goals of improving service delivery and efficiency through innovative transformation projects.
The successful candidates will partner with specific service departments to design and implement change programmes, ensuring the right support structures are in place for successful delivery. This involves identifying opportunities for improvement, shaping and driving strategic transformation initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the council.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Transformation Planning and Implementation - Develop and oversee the execution of department-specific transformation strategies, ensuring alignment with broader council objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Support - Act as a primary liaison between the business improvement team and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Change Management - Guide departments through change processes, providing support and resources to manage transitions effectively.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting - Track progress against transformation goals, providing regular updates to senior management and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Training and Development - Organise training sessions and workshops to upskill department staff in change management and continuous improvement practices.
- Policy and Compliance Oversight - Ensure that transformation initiatives comply with relevant laws, regulations, and council policies.
