About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to manage our filmmaking and screen acting courses/parties events team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the production and delivery of all YFA filmmaking and acting courses, including our Residential Summer Camp.
  • Oversee the management of Project Paradiso, our prestige film shoot in Sicily, in February each year.
  • Coordinate the management of all YFA filmmaking parties.
  • Lead a team of 50 freelance filmmaking and screen acting staff.
  • Manage event logistics for the Young Film Academy Awards held at a prestigious venue.
  • Establish and foster new partnerships with film education organizations and industry partners.
  • Collaborate on the production of the Young Film Academy podcast.
  • Represent the company at film festivals as required.
Requirements
  • Experience in events management or arts education.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Proficiency in Mac computers.
  • Proficiency in using Zoom, Slack, and Google Drive.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral English language skills.
  • Excellent personal skills to forge partnerships with arts institutions and education organizations.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Interest in media, TV, or film.
  • Experience working with young people aged 5-19.
  • Experience in film production.
  • Experience managing a team.
