Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to operate in various locations. The working hours are:

Schedule:
Monday to Saturday, 08:00 - 18:00 (standard 8-hour workday during client operational hours, with Saturday duties on an on-call basis).

Role Responsibilities
This position involves field-based support for hardware maintenance and replacement tasks across designated areas. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting device and connectivity diagnostics.
  • Performing device imaging and configuration.
  • Executing device replacements and managing connectivity cabling, including Wi-Fi.
  • Overseeing device installations, relocations, and decommissioning.
  • Managing device inventory and asset tracking.
  • Providing proactive maintenance and user training.
  • Ensuring effective cable management.
  • Acting as a liaison with other support teams.

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Prior experience in a similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems.
  • Knowledge of various devices including tablets, desktops, laptops, and networking equipment.
  • Understanding of the Windows operating system and related technologies.
  • Experience with peripheral devices such as printers and scanners.
  • Focus on service level agreements and familiarity with call management systems.
  • Proven troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Awareness of Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance is advantageous.
  • Ability to obtain basic security clearance.
  • A valid UK driving license is required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
