An exciting opportunity has arisen with Kraft Recruitment for an Electrical Service Technician to become a vital part of our Service Team.

The ideal candidate will possess the 17th or 18th edition certification, along with a recognized qualification or apprenticeship in electrical engineering. A solid understanding of PLCs, motor circuits, sensors, measurement devices, and related equipment is essential.


Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Service Technician:


The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Field Manager and will be part of a dedicated team responsible for asset evaluation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning, as well as assisting with the installation of our client's equipment.

Enhancing the performance of newly installed equipment and existing assets is crucial as part of our ongoing commitment to product development and customer support.


  • Ensure that all installations and serviced equipment serve as exemplary reference sites.
  • Conduct final testing and commissioning of installations related to both new and existing equipment.
  • Perform service work on equipment and ancillary systems, including control systems.
  • Carry out site visits to inspect products for mechanical and electrical asset condition reporting, as well as electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Deliver operator training for end users of our products.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers and collaborate with other departments.
  • Ensure that projects yield effective solutions for our clients.

Requirements for the Electrical Service Technician:
Qualified Electrical Technician or Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, ideally from a background in electrical engineering service or plant/production maintenance.
Familiarity with three-phase low voltage motor control panels and PLCs.
Willingness to assist Mechanical Technicians as needed.
Primarily site-based work in the Southern UK, with a company vehicle provided for travel.
Occasional assignments in other regions of the UK.
Valid UK driving license.
Strong customer-facing skills.
