Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Youth Homelessness Support Worker. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting young people who are experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide housing support and guidance to young people in need, helping them to access stable and secure accommodation.
  • Work closely with local authorities, housing providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, understanding their individual needs and circumstances.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective support plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with vulnerable young people, preferably in a homelessness or housing support context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of local housing options and support services, with a willingness to learn and develop your expertise.
